Armenian Man Detained by Russians After Throwing Grenade at Azerbaijanis in Shushi Region
A resident of Stepanakert, born in 1975, who was involved in an incident on the Stepanakert-Shushi-Berdzor interstate road, is currently at the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Artsakh.
The Artsakh Investigative Committee urges the public to refrain from baseless speculations and to follow only official information.
It is reported that today an incident occurred on the Stepanakert-Berdzor road. On November 8, a relative of an Armenian worker killed in that area approached Azerbaijani servicemen and threw a grenade in their direction. Russian peacekeepers detained the individual from Artsakh who had exploded the Azerbaijan post in retaliation for the killing of his relative.
A criminal case has been initiated at the Artsakh Investigative Committee concerning the incident caused by an apparent provocation from an Azerbaijani serviceman.
