Lockdown to Be Imposed for the Unvaccinated in Austria
A lockdown will be implemented for all unvaccinated individuals in Austria. This was reported by Deutsche Welle. The relevant decision is set to be adopted on November 14.
Details of the new measures were presented today by Austrian Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg. He stated that given the rising number of coronavirus infections, waiting would not be reasonable. According to him, declaring a lockdown across the entire country would be unfair to vaccinated citizens. In Austria, 65 percent of the population has been vaccinated against the coronavirus.
