Video. What is the situation at the Polish-Belarusian border: fights and scuffles

A scuffle broke out among refugees gathered at the Belarusian-Polish border as they were receiving food from a UN representative. According to reports from RIA Novosti, an employee of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees arrived at the camp. Hundreds of people began to surround the representative, struggling to receive food.

As shown in the footage shared online, some of them got into fights. The situation at the borders of Poland, Latvia, and Lithuania with Belarus has worsened over the summer due to immigrants coming from the Middle East and North Africa. Currently, thousands of immigrants remain gathered at the Polish-Belarusian border.
