Opposition MPs Denied Access to Government as Heightened Security Declared
The deputy of the 'Hayastan' faction, Gegham Manukyan, announced that a group of opposition MPs is trying to enter the government but remains adamant about their efforts.
MP Anna Grigoryan was negotiating with security personnel when it became clear that heightened security measures were in place, preventing access to the government at this time. The MP noted that heightened security means that 'the Goris-Kapan interstate highway has been handed over to the Azerbaijani side, where no enhanced services were provided; instead, law enforcement strictly monitors government members.'
It was also reported that MPs from the 'Honorary Have' faction, Hayk Mamijanyan, Anna Mkrtchyan, and Tigran Abrahamyan, have arrived near the government.
