Government Announces Extension of Coronavirus Restrictions
The coronavirus-related restrictions in Armenia will be extended until June 20, 2022. The government approved a draft decision during today's session.
The rationale for the draft indicates that the necessity for the extension is due to the continued tension of the epidemiological situation concerning the coronavirus in the Republic of Armenia.
According to the decision, foreign citizens entering Armenia will still be required to present a negative PCR test result older than 72 hours until June 20.
It is also proposed to prohibit visits to military units of the Ministry of Defense and mandatory leave for conscripts and junior command personnel, except in cases of the death of a family member.
