Connection with Shurnukh, Vorotan, and Bardzravan Communities Severed, Leading to Food Supply Issues, Says Goris Deputy Mayor

The connection with the communities of Shurnukh, Vorotan, and Bardzravan has become difficult, which will lead to food supply problems. This was stated by the Deputy Mayor of Goris, Irina Yolyan, during an interview on 24TV's program "Interview."

She presented the situation prevailing in the community and in Syunik in general following the announcement by Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan about the establishment of checkpoints on the Goris-Kapan road.

According to her, unilateral decisions are being made behind the people's backs, the legality of which is at least disputable. As for the alternative repaired road, Yolyan believes that it cannot replace the main road because it is not economically viable enough.
