Cases of Acute Intestinal Poisoning at Tashir Pizza Food Outlets Accepted for Investigation

The Investigation Committee of Armenia has commenced an inquiry to clarify the circumstances surrounding cases of acute intestinal poisoning affecting several citizens who consumed various food items at Tashir Pizza outlets operating in different administrative districts of Yerevan since October 3, 2021. This information has been reported by the Investigation Committee of Armenia.

It is noteworthy that the criminal case initiated in the Police of Armenia under Article 279, Part 2, Point 2 of the Criminal Code has been accepted into the jurisdiction of the Heavy Crimes Investigation Division of the Yerevan Investigation Department of the Investigation Committee of Armenia.

Investigative and procedural actions are ongoing in order to clarify all the circumstances of the case. The preliminary investigation continues.
