The '3+3' Format Corresponds to the Interests of All Regional States, Says Zakharova
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, addressed questions regarding the creation of a '3+3' platform (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Russia, Turkey, and Iran) in the South Caucasus during a weekly briefing. She noted that Russia supports this initiative.
“And of course, we assume it's time to move the plans for launching this format into practical terms. As for Georgia's position, we are hearing conflicting statements from Tbilisi regarding its participation in this consultative mechanism. But that is the position of a sovereign state. We proceed from the understanding that the '3+3' format corresponds to the interests of all regional states,” said Zakharova.
