Tatev-Aghvani Road Asphalt Completed, Minister Announces

The asphalt paving of the Tatev-Aghvani road has been fully completed, effectively making the Goris-Kapan road an alternative route that is entirely ready for use. This was announced by Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan during a press conference.

The minister also reported that construction is underway on the Tatev-Ltsen road in the Syunik region, as well as various roads in several communities, including Shurnukh, Vorotan, and Bardzravan.

“At this moment, we also consider the works related to the Sisian-Kajaran section to be crucial. We prepared a government decision which recognized the construction of that road as a priority. Currently, ongoing works are in progress to advance to the competitive phase, with construction expected to begin in 2022,” said Gnel Sanosyan.
