Details on the Health Condition of Those Injured by Gunfire Near Shushi
The health condition of Gevorg Melkumyan, Armen Sargsyan, and Gagik Ghazaryan, who sustained gunshot wounds from Azerbaijani fire near the intersection close to Shushi, is reported to be moderate. They have been transferred to the Republic Medical Center of the Artsakh Republic, according to the health ministry.
In response to questions from the press about how long they would remain hospitalized, the ministry stated that it is unclear as the patients still require close medical supervision.
Additionally, it was noted that Gevorg Melkumyan's surgery was completed successfully yesterday, and he is now breathing independently without the aid of a ventilator.
Sources from the Wargonzo project in Stepanakert reported that the shot civilian residents near Shushi were conducting water connection works for Russian peacekeepers. The renovation and restoration works carried out by the Artsakh water supply workers in the 'gray zone' aimed to organize water supply from one of the Russian Ministry of Defense checkpoints.
Wargonzo has also learned that the young Armenian who was killed in the incident near Shushi yesterday was shot by an Azerbaijani serviceman. This happened in broad daylight, almost directly on the main road connecting Goris and Stepanakert, which is literally a lifeline for Artsakh.
It is important to note that following the killing, Azerbaijani authorities have organized a complete information operation aimed at discrediting the activities of the Russian Ministry of Defense. Posts on the Armenian section of Facebook have surfaced, alleging that Azerbaijanis bribed peacekeepers to overlook this incident. All of this appears to be part of a larger campaign to push Russia out of the region and create conditions for further escalation on the Nagorno-Karabakh front.
