Certain Medications Withdrawn from Circulation in Armenia
The head of the Health and Labor Inspection Authority of Armenia has issued orders to suspend the circulation and recall of certain medications based on the expert conclusion attached to letter No. 0105106921 dated November 5, 2021, from the Expert Center for Medicines and Medical Technologies named after Academician E. Gabrielian of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.
This was reported by the Inspection Authority.
Specifically:
- “Phosphalugel Aluminum Phosphate Powder for Oral Administration 10400mg, (20) sachets 16g, for France Pharmatis, Z.A N1, Bp 20, 60190 Estress Cédex, Astellas Pharma Europe B.V., Sylviusweg 62, 2333 BZ Leiden (Netherlands)” series: 028361, expiration date: 05.31.2023;
- “Lozar-Denk 25 Losartan (Losartan Potassium) Film-Coated Tablets 25mg, (28/2×14/) in blisters for Germany Denk Pharma GmbH and Co. KG, Goll Str. 1, 84529 Tittmoning, Denk Pharma GmbH and Co. KG, Prinzregenten Str. 79, 81675 Munich (Germany)” series: 23069, expiration date: 08.31.2022; series: 24819, expiration date: 03.31.2023;
- “Lozar-Denk 50 Losartan (Losartan Potassium) Film-Coated Tablets 50mg, (28/2×14/) in blisters for Germany Denk Pharma GmbH and Co. KG” has several series with expiration dates ranging from 11.30.2021 to 02.28.2024;
- “Lozar-Denk 100 Losartan (Losartan Potassium) Film-Coated Tablets 50mg, (28/2×14/) in blisters” series with expiration dates including 05.31.2022 and 09.30.2022;
- “CoLozar-Denk 50/12.5 Losartan (Losartan Potassium) Film-Coated Tablets 50mg+12.5mg, (28/2×14/) in blisters” series with expiration dates ranging from 07.31.2022 to 08.31.2024;
- “CoLozar-Denk 100/12.5 Losartan (Losartan Potassium) Film-Coated Tablets 100mg+12.5mg, (28/2×14/) in blisters” with several series having expiration dates up to 06.30.2023.
