Large-Scale Military Exercises in Iran
Under the name 'Zolfaghar 1400', large-scale military exercises of the Iranian army have commenced on Sunday in Hormozgan, Sistan, and Baluchestan provinces, along the Makran coast and in the northern part of the Indian Ocean, reports IRNA.
The exercises involve the Navy, Air Defense, Air Force units, and the Iranian Ground Forces. Successful objectives include the collection of electronic warfare, signal, and counter-electronic information using monitoring systems and directing various Iranian reconnaissance drones such as Ababil 3, Yasir 3, Sadegh, Mohajer 4, and Simorgh, as well as reconnaissance aircraft including the P3F, RF4, and Boeing 707, stated Admiral Mahmoud Mousavi, the head of the exercises' press service.
Admiral Mousavi emphasized that the establishment of security in Western Asia is achieved through the unity of practical steps from regional states. The message of the exercises is the readiness to establish peace and friendship through its own capabilities.
