Azerbaijanis Dragged Armenian Driver Out of Vehicle on Goris-Kapan Road, MP Says
Days ago, an incident occurred on the Goris-Kapan highway involving Azerbaijani soldiers and an Armenian driver. This was reported to NEWS.am by MP Vahe Hakobyan from the ‘Armenia’ faction:
“A few days ago, on the Goris-Kapan road, they pulled a driver out of one of the vehicles in a convoy, humiliated him, claiming that gestures were made toward them while going back, they hit the car, pulled the driver out, the Russians turned back, came, and somehow freed him from their hands, and continued on their way,” he said.
The MP added that the Goris-Kapan highway is not safe; if it were, Nikol Pashinyan would have traveled through that road during his recent visit to Kapan, instead of taking the dirt road to Tatev: “If it were safe, would Nikol go through the Tatev road? Because he is afraid, maybe he has not received permission to pass through there.”
