An anonymous group of millions wearing masks burned an effigy of Prime Minister Boris Johnson in Trafalgar Square, London.

The anonymous march takes place every year on November 5. On this day in 1605, conspirators planned to blow up the Houses of Parliament in London. The mask of Guy Fawkes, one of the participants in the ‘Gunpowder Plot,’ became a symbol of rebellion, largely popularized by the film 'V for Vendetta.'
