Drunken Russian Removes Ukrainian Flag from Building in Ukraine

A drunken Russian man has removed the Ukrainian flag from a building in the city of Vinnytsia, Ukraine, and thrown it away. A criminal case has been initiated against him, according to Lenta.ru.

Law enforcement officials stated that the incident occurred early in the morning on November 6. The 35-year-old Russian climbed to the top of a shopping and entertainment center and removed the Ukrainian flag from its pole, later discarding it while fleeing from security personnel. The man reported that he had come to the Vinnytsia region to visit relatives and had pulled down the flag for a bet.
