Apple Plans to Begin Production of Its Own Vehicles
American company Apple has hired former Tesla engineer Christopher Moore, whose team was involved in creating autonomous vehicles. This was reported by Bloomberg, citing its sources.
According to the agency, Moore will work on the vehicle's software under the leadership of Stuart Bowers, who also worked at Tesla until mid-2019.
Apple has not officially confirmed the news of developing its own autonomous vehicle, declining to comment.
According to previously published media reports, the company plans to start production of its own vehicles as early as 2024.
