Red Cross Representatives Visit Captured and Detained Armenians in Azerbaijan
Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) have visited Armenians who were captured and detained in Azerbaijan. Delegates from the organization assessed their living conditions and helped establish contact with family members.
Zara Amatuni, a representative of the Red Cross, told "Lurer" that committee members regularly meet with all individuals whose captivity is officially confirmed. Baku currently confirms the presence of 40 individuals in Azerbaijan.
“Individuals have been given the opportunity to exchange family-related information and news. Red Cross letters, video messages, and phone calls have been utilized. We cannot disclose the number of people we visit during captivity, but I can confirm that we have been in contact with each individual's family throughout this entire period,” said Zara Amatuni.
