The location of former Stepanavan Mayor Sarkis Gharaqeshishyan is currently unknown, leading to the issuance of a wanted notice. This information was confirmed in an interview with Aravik Khachatryan, the head of the Public Relations and Information Department of the Prosecutor General's Office.

It is important to note that Gharaqeshishyan has been charged with abuse of official authority and money laundering. He participated in the hearing regarding the request for his detention. However, when the court decided to grant the request for detention as a preventive measure, it was impossible to impose an arrest, as his whereabouts are unknown.

On October 29, it was reported that he had been arrested. On November 1, the General Jurisdiction Court of Lori approved the request to apply detention as a preventive measure against Sarkis Gharaqeshishyan.
