Almost 3.66 Billion Drams for MPs' Bonuses and Salaries, Says Armenian Parliament Representative

According to the draft state budget for 2022, out of the allocated 5.952 billion drams, approximately 3 billion 659 million drams are designated for the payment of MPs' salaries and bonuses. This was announced on November 3 during a joint meeting of the permanent committees of the National Assembly discussing the draft state budget for 2022 by Vahan Naribekyan, the head of the National Assembly's staff.

At the same time, he noted that they were expecting slightly more funds. He stated, “The funds provided in the draft state budget for 2022 are 510 million drams or 9.8 percent less than what was presented in the parliamentary budget application.”
