Authorities Have Adopted a New Method for the Final Dismantling of the Armed Forces: Tigran Abrahamyan
Tigran Abrahamyan writes on his Facebook page: "The authorities have adopted a new method for the final dismantling of the armed forces. They initiate a series of arrests and subsequent detentions based on any criminal case initiated. For example, this is the case with Davit Tonoyan. Following him, they detain the deputy chief of staff, the head of the department, and so on.
Since 2018, there has been a large number of criminal cases, resulting in a significant number of isolated military personnel. Some have been detained, others have been indifferent and left the system, and some have even managed to go abroad.
It is clear that among them, there may be individuals who have committed crimes at various stages, and such individuals should certainly face the fullest responsibility. However, it is also evident that the authorities have caused upheavals in an already difficult situation through various pressures, fabricated cases, or simply by disgusting them, resulting in many military personnel being removed from service.
Such matters do not concern the chief of staff, who holds the rank of the first soldier by office; he has solved his problem—after being disgracefully dismissed, he was reinstated in his position.
Meanwhile, he has given away territories in Syunik and Gegharkunik and is living comfortably. But of course, they will be pursued behind him; Nikol forgives nothing and no one, even if they have served him silently.
They will all be sacrificed at some point for Nikol. The case of Davit Tonoyan, who was the highest official with the best image in Pashinyan's government, is a testament to this."
