QP Deputy Vahagn Aleksanyan's Statement is False: Lawyer

Lawyer Erik Aleksanyan stated: "During today’s session of the National Assembly of Armenia, representative of the ruling party, QP Deputy Vahagn Aleksanyan, literally declared the following: 'Arush Arushanyan's father has gone in Goris to beat every door, saying that this has nothing to do with politics, vote for Arush so that he is released.' Dear compatriots, that deputy’s statement is absolutely false.

The people of Goris voted for the individual who has consistently uplifted his city and helped its residents. The citizens of Goris chose the person who, both during his tenure and throughout his life, has been guided solely by the principle that every Armenian must love their nationality and must build, so that everyone knows that the Armenian nation will always exist and will never kneel before anyone.

Furthermore, I would advise that deputy to think well before speaking and find the courage within himself to simply accept defeat like a man."
