Over 90 Percent of COVID-19 Cases in Armenia Caused by Delta Variant, Minister Details

Over 90 percent of COVID-19 cases in Armenia are attributed to the Delta variant, announced Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan during a briefing with reporters.

“Considering the aggressiveness of the Delta variant and the presence of severe cases, we can say that due to the high professional qualities and tireless work of our doctors, we do not see an increase in the percentage of mortality,” the minister stated.
