Government Allocates Funds to Ministry of Defense for Acquisition of Gravestones at ‘Yerablur’

The Armenian government will allocate 1 billion 87 million 75 thousand AMD to the Ministry of Defense for the acquisition and installation of gravestones and their accessories for servicemen buried at the ‘Yerablur’ military pantheon.

According to the justification, in collaboration with the chief architect of the 'Yerablur' military pantheon, A. Mkhitaryan, a proposal for the construction of a memorial complex for servicemen who died during the 44-day war in 2020 has been developed. This proposal includes plans for the improvement of the pantheon area and has been approved by the Minister of Defense of Armenia.

The work is planned to be carried out in two phases: the development of the gravesite area, including the installation of approved formats of commemorative stones (gravestone, photo stone, flower vase, and incense burner), the landscaping of the memorial complex area, as well as the implementation of engineering systems and auxiliary structures.
