Discussion on Extending School Break by Another Week: Minister

The issue of extending the school break by another week is being discussed. This was stated by Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan in a conversation with journalists after the government meeting.

“Higher education institutions have switched to online classes. This will certainly help to achieve a reduction in the spread of the virus due to the decreased movement,” the minister said, adding that a certain alleviation in the numbers is expected to be recorded in two weeks.

Currently, schools are on a two-week break.
