Transit Logic and Rhetoric Deepen Hostile Atmosphere, Says Pashinyan

Transit logic and rhetoric deepen the hostile atmosphere in the region. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in parliament.

He reiterated that Armenia supports the opening of communication means in the region. "On November 9, we recorded that all regional communications should be opened, and Armenia supports this viewpoint. This means that, for example, the railways that once existed should be reopened in a certain sequence and made accessible for regional countries. The highways that once existed should also be reopened in a certain sequence and made accessible for the countries of the region," said Pashinyan. He added that the unblocking of communications is an important component of security since, according to him, when economic ties start to function, it creates a certain guarantee for security and peace.

“Armenia and Azerbaijan should have the opportunity to use each other's communication routes for freight and passenger transport. What stages this will have is another issue,” said Pashinyan.
