One and a Half Billion Dram Has Been Directly Embezzled from Our Citizens: Agvan Vardanian

According to Agvan Vardanian, a member of the Armenia faction of the National Assembly, Armenia is no longer a democratic state but a simple primitive police state. He made this statement during today's announcements session of the National Assembly.

"This government has hit the people like a medal and justifies everything in the name of the people," he said.

Referring to inflation, Vardanian added, "Next year our pensioners will live in worse conditions; poverty will deepen. Just one fact to note: during this period, over 2 million coronavirus tests have been conducted at an additional cost of 15,000 drams each. Now it turns out that the cost of the test could have been half as low."

According to the representative of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, "one and a half billion drams have been directly embezzled from our citizens."
