Yerevan-Gyumri-Yerevan Train Stoned

On October 23, unidentified individuals threw stones at the train servicing the Yerevan-Gyumri-Yerevan route, resulting in the breaking of one of the train's side windows. Fortunately, no passengers were harmed. This was reported by the South Caucasus Railway.

The incident occurred in the Noragavit-Yerevan section. Employees of the South Caucasus Railway’s security service, along with law enforcement agencies, are taking measures to identify the assailant.

The company once again reminds citizens of the need for responsible behavior regarding railway traffic safety, as well as the possible criminal liability they may face for illegal actions that endanger traffic safety or the life and health of passengers. The company also urges parents to explain to children and teenagers the possible serious consequences of irresponsible behavior on the railway.
