VIDEO: Footage of Saakashvili's Illegal Entry into the Country Published

Georgian television has released a video showing how former president Mikheil Saakashvili illegally entered the country. The political figure was hidden in the ventilation compartment of a dairy transport truck. The footage reveals that he appeared nervous, sweating, and with reddened cheeks. He was wearing a sports jacket, a hat, and a medical mask.

On October 20, the Georgian Prosecutor's Office officially charged Saakashvili related to illegal border crossing. Earlier, the agency had provided details about Saakashvili's arrival from Ukraine to Georgia. On September 28, around 11:00 PM local time, the ship 'Vilnius' arriving from Ukraine entered the port of Poti, from which a trailer loaded with dairy products left on September 29 at 01:04 AM.

The former president was arrested on October 1 in Tbilisi.
