Saakashvili Refuses to Be Transferred to Prison Hospital
The former President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, has declined to be hospitalized in a prison hospital. This was reported by Echo of Moscow.
The decision to transfer the political figure to a prison hospital was made earlier by the Georgian Ministry of Justice due to the deterioration of Saakashvili's health as a result of a nearly three-week hunger strike.
Saakashvili was arrested after arriving in Georgia from Ukraine.
