Russian Journalist Dies After Waiting 7 Hours for Ambulance; Criminal Case Initiated
A criminal case has been opened in Kaluga region of Russia after Konstantin Kisov, a journalist with Nika TV, died while waiting for an ambulance for 7 hours. This was reported by Interfax, citing the regional investigative department of the Russian Investigative Committee.
The deceased's relatives contacted law enforcement agencies. According to one of the investigators' hypotheses, Kisov's death may have been due to the improper execution of duties by medical staff.
The 59-year-old journalist suffered a stroke in mid-September. His brother confirmed that he had been waiting for the ambulance for seven hours. Half an hour after being hospitalized, the man passed away.
