Criminal Case Opened in Albania Following Deaths of Russian Tourists

A criminal case has been opened in Albania under the article of "Murder" following the deaths of Russian tourists. This was reported by Говорит Москва.

It has been noted that the results of toxicological examinations are expected soon. The Russian Embassy in Albania has announced that the decision to initiate a criminal case was made by the Albanian Prosecutor General's office.

On October 15, four Russian citizens were found dead in the sauna of the "Gloria" hotel in Albania. The victims include a married couple, their daughter, and their son-in-law. Experts believe that the individuals died from asphyxiation. The most likely scenario being considered is that they inhaled chlorine gas used for cleaning the swimming pool. Investigators are also considering the possibility of ventilation failure.
