Pashinyan's Staff Violated the Law: MP

The National Assembly's "Honorary Member" faction MP Tigran Abrahamyan writes on his Facebook page: "After discussion with several employers who contacted me, at their suggestion, I sent a letter to Nikol Pashinyan to understand what regulations regarding several issues will be established under the new restrictions due to the coronavirus situation in the country.

Considering that as of October 1, a decision will take effect that requires employers to demand proof of vaccination or monthly PCR test results from their employees, a large number of problematic questions have accumulated among employers. In particular, one of their concerns is how they will organize their work to ensure corresponding budget revenues if, due to these restrictions, they lose their key specialists.

The problem becomes more substantial as the issue of choosing from the labor market arises, especially since Armenia's vaccination rates are quite low, making it increasingly challenging to find vaccinated employees under these circumstances.

Was a study conducted before making this decision? Is there a calculation of what impact this decision will have, not just from a health perspective, but economically? Does the government have solutions to this issue?

Given that the public administration system operates under a "super elastic and efficient" framework, Pashinyan's staff has violated the law and failed to respond to my letter within the stipulated timeframe. I directed this letter to Pashinyan on September 22, but he is probably busy with local government "conversations" and doesn't have time to respond to official letters addressed to him. After all, it's not the first time they've violated the law, nor will it be the last."
