Opel with Russian Plates Hits Pedestrian in Yerevan, Both Victim and Driver Hospitalized
On October 17, a pedestrian was hit by a car in Yerevan. Around 18:50, Levon Poghosyan, driving an Opel Vectra, struck a young male pedestrian at the intersection of Garegin Nzhdeh Street and Arshakunyats Avenue.
According to Shamshyan.com, the driver did not flee the scene and assisted the emergency medical team that arrived promptly, transporting the injured person to the 'Erebuni' Medical Center. The driver's condition later deteriorated, leading to his hospitalization as well.
Materials are being prepared by H. Sargsyan regarding the incident. The police are investigating the identity of the pedestrian involved in the accident.
