Government Does Not Deny, Meaning the Transfer Process is Quietly Underway, MP Warns
Member of the National Assembly from the 'We Have Honor' faction, Tigran Abrahamyan, wrote on his Facebook page: 'Two days ago, my colleague Anna Grigoryan made a post on her Facebook page, noting that the government is handing over Mount Pela in Kapan to Azerbaijan. As much as I was able to verify, we control one part of the mountain, while Azerbaijanis control another part.
The political power or any institution has not denied this until now, which means that the process of transfer is being carried out quietly. In recent days, Azerbaijan has targeted the Yerasx settlement, I emphasize, not the Armenian military positions located in that direction, but the peaceful settlement. People are suffering material losses, an atmosphere of fear is becoming rooted, while the government only talks about asphalt.
The Human Rights Defender continues to sound the alarm that Azerbaijan, having established itself in the territories seized from Armenia since May 12, is not only strengthening its positions but is also creating significant problems for our compatriots in neighboring villages. In response, the government continues to speak of peace and does nothing regarding the safety of our compatriots.
As a result of Azerbaijani aggression in Artsakh, according to official information, we had 6 wounded last week, and 1 civilian was injured while carrying out agricultural work, also resulting in material damage. The government is trying in every way to 'extinguish' the noise raised on this issue and does nothing to prevent such incidents in the future.
Is it an era of peace or a real peaceful surrender? The actions of the government suggest that, unfortunately, we are dealing with the peaceful surrender of various parts of our homeland and leaving the safety of our citizens to the whims of fate.'
