200,000 Doses of Sinopharm Vaccine Imported in Latest Batch

Armenia has acquired another batch of the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine against COVID-19, totaling 200,000 doses. This has been reported by the Ministry of Health.

The imported batch of the vaccine will soon be available in primary health care facilities and mobile vaccination points.

It is noteworthy that the Sinopharm vaccine has received emergency use authorization from the World Health Organization (WHO). The effectiveness and safety data of the vaccine meet the standards established by the WHO.

Like other vaccines being used in Armenia, the Sinopharm vaccine is intended for vaccination against COVID-19 in individuals aged 18 and older.
