COVID-19 in Armenia: Updated Data

As of October 17, Armenia has reported 1,697 new cases of coronavirus infection, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 281,991.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, 24 citizens have died due to the virus in one day, increasing the total death toll to 5,778.

No deaths of patients infected with coronavirus from other diseases have been recorded. As of October 17, the number of deaths attributed to other causes in this group is 1,233. In total, 24 people have died yesterday, increasing the overall number of deaths to 7,011.

In one day, 790 patients have recovered, making the total recoveries 253,936, while currently, 21,044 individuals are under treatment.

A total of 11,466 tests were conducted in one day, with a cumulative total of 1,886,064 tests performed to date.
