The War is Not Over: Arman Abovyan

Former MP Arman Abovyan wrote on his Facebook page: “Dear people, I urge you, when the situation escalates in Artsakh or in the occupied territories of Armenia, do not spread Azerbaijani fake news or unverified information regarding casualties or injuries. These are the basic rules of information hygiene; the war is not over, the Turk has invaded our home, and we are quickly falling prey to every informational provocation from the enemy.

I understand that the information from state bodies no longer inspires confidence among anyone, but that does not mean we should engage in hysteria fueled by fakes ourselves. After all, I repeat, the war is not over, and there must be a response to this ongoing conflict in our approach to information.
