Over $5 Billion Transferred from Russia to CIS Countries: Where Does Armenia Stand?
The Central Bank of Russia has released statistics on personal transfers from the country to other CIS nations, as reported by RBK. In total, $5.44 billion was transferred to CIS countries in the first half of 2021.
The majority of the funds were directed to Uzbekistan, amounting to $2.044 billion, followed by Kyrgyzstan with $1.049 billion, Tajikistan with $713 million, Armenia with $412 million, Azerbaijan with $402 million, Ukraine with $356 million, Belarus with $245 million, Moldova with $131 million, and Kazakhstan with $82 million.
