Man Sets Ex-Wife on Fire During TikTok Live in China

A man in China has set his ex-wife on fire with kerosene during a TikTok live stream. According to Mash, the man has been sentenced to death for his brutal act.

The 30-year-old Tibetan woman, Lhamo, was showcasing her skills in gathering mountain herbs, cooking, and dancing for her audience. Her ex-husband, Teng Liu, had previously beaten Lhamo, and when she left him, he stalked her, begging her to return.

Reportedly, his rejection enraged Liu. He arrived at her home, poured kerosene over her during the TikTok broadcast, and ignited her.

Lhamo's account is now managed by her sister, who shares family updates and discusses women's rights in China.
