Cargo Trains Collide on the Tsovagyugh-Shorja Road
An incident occurred on October 13 in the Gegharkunik region. Around 12:00 PM, at the 118th kilometer of the Tsovagyugh-Shorja road near "Raketa" rest area, a collision took place between two cargo trains. One of the trains was operated by 44-year-old Hrach Babayan from Ararat province, driving a "Drezin," while the other was driven by 34-year-old Roman Tamazyan from Alaverdi city, operating a "Veper" construction train.
According to Shamshyan.com, fortunately, there were no injuries reported. Materials are being prepared regarding the incident. According to G. Shamshyan's information, the mentioned cargo trains belong to the South Caucasian Railway LLC, and both Babayan and Tamazyan work for this company as drivers.
