The day before, an Azerbaijani soldier was utilized by the Azerbaijanis themselves. The Artsakh Defense Army clarified that the Armenian side had no relation to the destruction of the Azerbaijani soldier, adding that they fought among themselves and killed each other. The next day, the enemy carried out an organized provocation. They opened active fire towards the southern community of Artsakh, targeting the positions of the Armenian forces. Open sources confirm that all 6 Armenian wounded are from one position.

Various sources report that fire was also opened from Shushi and other directions along the contact line towards Armenian positions and civilian areas. Some individuals also reported that there were strikes from 72mm mortars. It is said that drones were also spotted, though it is not confirmed. Perhaps the drones were for Russian monitoring. Official information states that everything is calm at the moment.

What was the purpose? The enemy will not give peace to either us or the Russians. The death of the soldier they utilized complicates our situation, granting them a fictitious right to retaliate and once again point fingers at the Russians as if they are useless in Artsakh. They also satisfy the demands of the Turkish-Azerbaijani society by claiming they avenged the death of the Turkish soldier. Meanwhile, they label us as terrorists.

Pashinyan in Yerevan and Aliyev in Baku may prattle on about peace at high levels to whatever suits their whims, but the situation on the ground is different.
