As reported by the Defense Army earlier, on the evening of October 14, the Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire towards a combat outpost located along the eastern border of the Republic of Artsakh, resulting in gunshot wounds to six servicemen. This information was provided by Artsakh's State Minister Artak Beglaryan.

“I urge everyone to refrain from spreading disinformation and succumbing to the temptation of becoming a source of 'sensational' information. Apart from the mentioned six wounded, there are no other casualties or deaths. At that time, there were six servicemen at that outpost, and all were injured. Three others were outside the outpost and did not sustain any injuries. I, along with the Minister of Health, visited the military hospital in Stepanakert and the republican medical center to monitor the medical care operations; I am currently still there. Following certain examinations, doctors assure that two individuals are in serious condition, and fortunately, no one's life is in danger.

The Defense Army has reported that instances of gunfire have been recorded at certain points along the contact line; however, there have been no consequences. The situation has now stabilized across the entire length of the contact line. The political and military leadership of Artsakh is taking emergency measures to stabilize the situation by making necessary decisions and communicating with the relevant parties.

I ask our compatriots to remain calm and not to be swayed by false information and rumors. The relevant authorities will provide operational and regular updates regarding the further developments of the situation.”

It should be noted that although the Human Rights Defender of Artsakh and the Defense Army have already reported that the Armenian side has no casualties, information is still circulating in certain Russian, Armenian, and Telegram channels suggesting that the Armenian side has also suffered losses. This information is once again denied by the relevant authorities of Artsakh.

Iranian media outlets have also reported four casualties on the Azerbaijani side.
