Zakharova on the Tripartite Meeting of Spiritual Leaders of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan
The tripartite meeting of the spiritual leaders of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan is another significant format for overcoming challenges and creating an atmosphere of trust, as well as for the regulation of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, during a press briefing.
“This meeting is not the first; communications between religious leaders have been maintained for decades. They differ in reliability,” she said.
According to Zakharova, the meeting held in Moscow on October 13 will serve the regulation of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and the overall improvement of the situation in the South Caucasus, including strengthening trust, addressing urgent humanitarian issues, and preserving objects of cultural and religious heritage.
