VIDEO. Hakob Karapetyan Provides Details on the Incident Involving Children

Today, the Yerevan Municipality released a video regarding the demolition process of another illegal construction. Auroranews, upon reviewing the footage, noted that this is the same area where police removed a man with disproportionate force in the presence of children yesterday.

Regarding the incident, Auroranews spoke with Hakob Karapetyan, the spokesperson for the Yerevan Mayor. He indicated that the owner of the illegal structure, which is subject to demolition, refused to comply with the lawful demands of the police and municipality representatives, exhibiting aggressive behavior. According to the spokesperson, the individual broke windows and used abusive language, which led to police intervention.

As for the presence of children in the area, he mentioned that, according to credible information, the children were brought in through the back entrance.
