Iranian Espionage Network Uncovered in Turkey, Arrests Made
An Iranian espionage network has been uncovered in the Van province located in eastern Turkey. This was reported by mk.ru, citing Anadolu.
According to sources from the country's intelligence agency, a special operation carried out by Turkey's National Intelligence Organization and the police resulted in the arrest of 8 individuals, including 2 agents from Iran's intelligence services.
It has been reported that the members of the group were arrested on September 24 for attempting to abduct former Iranian military member M.A. and forcibly send him back to his home country.
