Arman Abovyan: The 'Proud Citizens' of Armenia or Artsakh, Swayed by Azerbaijani-Turkish 'Free Bait', Will Abandon the Existence of Artsakh and Armenia
Former MP Arman Abovyan wrote on his Facebook page: "In the medium-term, we are all expecting a new process, which I will figuratively call 'the voluntary self-destruction of Armenians for Azerbaijani money.' If more specifically, analyzing the logic of the actions and statements of the Turkish-Azerbaijani bloc, I believe that soon the fascist regime of Aliyev will implement mechanisms to 'bribe' both the people of Artsakh and Armenia. This means trying through various so-called 'economic' incentives to affect first the sentiments of the population of Artsakh, and more globally, also those of Armenia, creating a situation where the proud citizens of Armenia or Artsakh, swayed by 'free' Azerbaijani-Turkish 'payouts', will finally renounce both Artsakh and Armenia as a political entity.
For example, they will attempt to use direct economic influence methods on the population, offering free utility services to the people of Artsakh (such as free gas or electricity), and will also try to supposedly provide job offers, perhaps even pensions for retirees, in short, they will bribe directly through economic methods, and will name all this 'the reintegration of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh into Azerbaijani society.'
In the case of Armenia, investment programs will be proposed (mainly in the road construction sector), to which we would happily agree at first to the logistical partitioning of Syunik, and then to the piecemeal destruction of Armenia as a political entity.
To ensure no one falls into a Turkophile euphoria, let me remind you that the final goal of this alleged Turkish-Azerbaijani project regarding both Artsakh and Armenia must be either the physical destruction of Armenians or their removal from the region in a historically short timeframe.
Let us not forget that the entire territory of Armenia is viewed by Azerbaijanis as their land, which even bears names mirrored from the titles of nomadic Turkic tribes in Azerbaijan.
Although Azerbaijani fascists have not yet declared such programs, be assured, studying history from the Armenian Genocide to the fate of the depopulated Nakhchivan makes it clear that Azerbaijanis will attempt to 'buy us off with money', then simply displace or eliminate us in one way or another.
Now the question is: do you think our super-duper peace-loving authorities, who are begging morning and night for a fabricated 'era of peace' from the Azerbaijanis and Turks, will agree to the trading rules of Azerbaijani-Turkish commerce, or not? I am just curious about your opinion."
