Today, by the decision of Hrach Ghazaryan, head of the Malatia investigation department of the Yerevan investigative office of the Armenian Investigative Committee, a investigative group was formed. Senior investigators Hakob Shahbandaryan and Eduard Tsarukyan submitted a petition to the Yerevan General Jurisdiction Court, requesting the court to impose a two-month detention on 46-year-old Yegishe G., a resident of Yerevan.

According to Shamshyan.com, Judge Robert Papoyan held a closed court session and, upon returning from the advisory room, granted the investigators' request. Yegishe G., against whom a criminal case has been opened under Article 104, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, was transferred from the court to the penitentiary institution of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia.

As reported earlier by a photojournalist at the scene, a murder occurred in Yerevan on October 12. At around 1:40 AM, the police operational management center received a call regarding a dispute near one of the houses on 1st Amaranth Lane in the Victory district, during which a citizen had been stabbed.

It was determined that on the same day, at approximately 1:30 AM, a dispute broke out over parking a vehicle near addresses 51A and 53 in the mentioned area. During this dispute, Yegishe G., a resident of 1st Amaranth Lane, stabbed 46-year-old Nelsik K., a Russian citizen, who had come to visit the street. Due to critical injuries, Nelsik K. was transported by a neighbor in his vehicle to the 'Astghik' medical center, but unfortunately, he did not regain consciousness on the way and passed away.
