Major Car Accident in Kotayk Province: Lexus Crashes Into Rubble and Rolls Over Multiple Times, Victim Reported

On October 12, a major car accident occurred in the Kotayk Province. Around 22:10, 35-year-old Hrayr Aleksanyan, a resident of Yerevan, was driving his Lexus GX470 when, under still unknown circumstances, he veered off the roadway on the 3rd kilometer of the Ashtarak-Eghvard highway towards Ashtarak. The vehicle crashed into rubble and overturned several times, eventually landing in a gorge.

According to Shamshyan.com, following the accident, driver H. Aleksanyan was extricated from his vehicle by the rapid response team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, specifically the fire-rescue unit No. 46 from Eghvard, and was transported to Armenia Medical Center.
