Large Sum of US Dollars Stolen from American Citizen in Hotel Complex in Yerevan

Materials are being prepared in the investigative department of the Central Police Division regarding a complaint filed by an American citizen at the Central Police Division yesterday, October 12.

According to Shamshyan.com, on that day, around 14:10, 62-year-old Garik A. approached the police to report that between 12:00 PM on October 4 and 1:00 PM on October 12, a burglar had opened the iron safe he rented and stolen a large sum of money from the "Ani Plaza" hotel complex.

According to information from G. Shamshyan, a 38-year-old woman named Anna V., who worked as a cleaner in the said hotel complex, has been detained on suspicion of committing the theft. She is accused of stealing $1,400 from the American citizen.
