Congress Approves Increase of US Debt Ceiling to $480 Billion
The U.S. House of Representatives has approved an increase in the federal debt ceiling to $480 billion until December 3.
According to calculations by the U.S. Treasury Department, if necessary actions to confirm the debt ceiling are not taken by October 18, the country risks default.
It has been previously reported that Joe Biden partially blamed Donald Trump for the situation regarding the national debt.
